Neighbourhood improvement fund
The Neighbourhood Improvement Fund (NIF) is a fund of money that residents can apply for to make improvements within an estate/block. The NIF is only available for COMMUNAL improvements that would be to the benefit of all residents. The neighbourhood officer would obtain quotes once the application is received. NIF projects need to be supported by more than 50% of residents before being sent to a customer-led panel. The panel will then decide which applications to approve.
