Our customers' safety is important to us. Here you will find all that you need to know about building and fire safety in your home.

Since the tragic fire at Grenfell Tower, we have worked hard to inspect our buildings for safety risks and take action where needed. We have prioritised our repair works first on buildings which are higher risk. This includes working with developers to fix cladding on buildings and addressing other safety concerns.

Our progress so far

Here is a summary of the progress we've made to date:

Compliance information for our buildings

  • We’ve carried out in-depth inspections of 319 buildings.
  • We identified 65 buildings that needed fire safety work.
  • Fire safety works at 7 buildings are due to be completed in 2024.
  • We are on track to fully complete the programme by 2026.

We have never passed on the costs of building safety inspections, or temporary fire safety measures, such as Waking Watch or temporary fire alarms, for buildings that we own.

Fire Risk Assessments

Alongside our building safety programme, we also carry out regular Fire Risk Assessments. We make sure that fire equipment is not damaged and that there are no fire risks in the communal areas. We do this regularly to make sure our residents are safe.

In this section of our website, you can find answers to some frequently asked questions around the issues of building safety and how fire safety inspections might affect you.
