All of our buildings have been designed and built with fire safety in mind.
- All homes and shared areas are fitted with at least one smoke alarm.
- The smoke alarms in corridors will continue to work even if the power is cut.
- Shared corridors in blocks of flats have self-closing fire doors to stop the fire and smoke from spreading.
- Every flat has fire-resistant doors that are designed to hold back a fire for at least 30 minutes.
We check the smoke alarms, fire alarms and fire safety equipment in shared areas regularly. We also update our fire risk assessments each year.
If you notice any damaged fire safety equipment, please tell us straight away.
