  1. Turn off the gas supply at the meter.
  2. Check if a gas tap has been left on or if a pilot light has gone out on your cooker or boiler.
  3. Call the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999.
  4. Open the windows and doors.
  5. Don't use any electric switches or anything with a spark or flame.
  6. Let us know by calling 0800 432 0077 or 0800 316 9880 out of hours.

Engineers from the National Gas Emergency Service will come and check your home for free.
