  • Once we've received our fees, we'll issue you with a notice of transfer.
  • If you are also changing your mortgage, we'll issue a notice of transfer and charge.
  • Our solicitors will supply a transfer of equity if it's required (which is a change in the co-ownership status of a property).
  • You or your solicitor must then send these to the Land Registry.

If you're a shared owner you can only add someone to the lease if they're eligible for shared ownership too. Before we can add them, we'll have to assess if they qualify. You can check the eligibility criteria on the Gov.uk website.
