When people are rude it can be upsetting. Unfortunately, there's not much we can do about rude neighbours. If they snap out answers or scowl when you greet them, that's their right. They may be having a tough time, have mental health issues or just do things differently to you.

However, if they repeatedly threaten, intimidate or verbally abuse you, you can report it to us as harassment.

And if they're causing you other problems - like being unreasonably noisy, or damaging your things - you can report it to the anti-social behaviour team, too.
