The cheapest way to get a copy of your lease is to order it from the Land Registry. They will usually charge you around £7. (Your lease is one of the title register documents for your property.)

We can send you a copy of your lease, but we charge a fee to cover the administration costs.

You may also be able to get a copy from the solicitor who acted for you when you purchased the property.

Don't worry if your name isn't on the original lease for your property. If you're listed as the current homeowner by the Land Registry on the Title Register, then you own the lease.
